Join SJV Women's Ministry for prayer and reflection this Advent. Together we will muse on the book Encountering Emmanuel: A Guided Advent Journal for Prayer and Meditation by Heather Khym, cohost of the Abiding Together podcast. Using video reflections, Heather will gently guide us into the areas of our hearts where Christ has not yet come—the areas where we’ve shut him out, the places we’ve long forgotten and ignored, or the spaces we’re ashamed to acknowledge. We’ll learn how to invite him in so that he can bring his light, love, peace, hope, and healing into our hearts. God will not force—love never does—but he asks, and we have a choice. Will you open wide your heart to the Savior and give your fiat as Mary did?    
Tuesdays at 9:00AM or 6:30PM in the Parish Center Fellowship Room.  We do not have any journals left, but they are still available from Ave Maria Press or in a Kindle version.
